Pet hair design studio is unlike any other pet spa in the area: Selina takes the time to get to know her clients and determine each pet’s needs. She works one-on-one with each pet to ensure a safe, clean, and happy experience for you and your pet! She offers a complete line of fine grooming services to bring out the best of appearance and personality in any breed. She works carefully, never rushing or overbooking appointments. Selina always takes the time to do it right.
In 2013, Selina took a leap of faith and opened her own business. With over 20 years in the professional grooming industry, both in corporate salons and private shops, she had seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. Selina wanted to do things differently. “I wanted to create a shop where I could spend the time to work with pets that needed to be cared for with a caring and gentle approach. It’s especially rewarding to work with a pet who is scared and gain their trust so their grooming experience is positive. Grooming dogs for The Rescues is also very meaningful to me. I love my job and all my furry clients! As a child I wanted to be a veterinarian; so, I attended a 2 year animal care program in high school where I learned to groom dogs and I fell in love with it! I have a true passion for pet grooming. I attend yearly training seminars to stay current and up to date on my skills. At home, I have 2 poodles and 3 boys that keep me busy. If not for my wonderful supportive husband, this dream would have never come true.”

Grooming is not a luxury but an important part of a pet's care routine. The groomer gets down to the skin and often sees problems and issues that owners often miss or overlook: Mats can cause pain to the pet; dirty ears increase the chance of infection or blockage; and parasites, such as fleas, can infest a pet if left unchecked. Regular grooming can prevent all these problems.
